Designer, stylist, explorer, wife and mom... these are pieces of me! My love for adventure first led me to Paris for 6 months where I studied art and design at Parsons Paris School of Design in 2001. After heading back to University of Oklahoma, I finished with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with Minors in Art History and French. I continued to learn and grow my craft through an internship with the international design firm Wilson & Associates, followed by another year abroad in Singapore. After landing in Dallas as a young newlywed in 2004, I first ventured into the exciting world of interior styling/staging for commercials, catalogues and magazines. Over the years I have been privileged to style room vignettes for clients including Traditional Home Magazine, Decor Magazine, Veranda Magazine, JCPenney, Dal Tile, Horchow and Neiman Marcus. In 2007, another door opened for the dream opportunity to work for Jan Showers & Associates. For two invaluable years, I learned under the talented hand of Jan Showers, who is not only a darling of the design world but a very savvy business woman. After the birth of my first child in May of 2009, I decided to take a leap of faith and launch Gretchen Leigh Clark Interiors. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with many fantastic clients who have become a part of my life, as they let me into their homes and their families. I enjoy working closely with my clients, getting to know their personalities and passions, and creating rooms that they will love for years to come. I love people and beautiful things, and feel very blessed to call this my job!
